Walking your way around Jersey is the
ultimate way to enjoy the peace and tranquillity
our island has to offer.
There’s an astonishing variety of walks
on the island including escorted walks arranged
by Jersey Tourism in the company of experienced
Blue Badge guides. The National Trust also offers
a year-long programme of free guided walks celebrating
Jersey’s glorious coastline and rich natural
history. Jersey was made for walkers – from
a gentle stroll along the sands to the rugged
challenge of breezy cliff tops and rocky caves.
The 48 mile coastal path can easily be divided
up into shorter walks or you can cover the whole
distance in one.
Discover the island’s famous “Green
Lanes”, a 45 mile network of idyllic country
roads where walkers, cyclists and horse-riders
have priority and traffic meanders at a lazy 15
miles an hour. Join us at Highlands for the
Jersey Walking Events, we’ll be happy to arrange
transport, maps and guidebooks. Just bring yourself
and we’ll do the rest.
